The Island of St. Barthelemy launches its unprecedented mobile application for an ever more successful tourist experience
After many months of work, the Tourism Committee of Saint-Barthélemy, along with Data Moove, announce the implementation of a new mobile application completely complete to travelers and residents of the island. This mobile application, a real concentrate of innovations, makes it possible to centralize and pass on all the latest tourist information on the island.
Saint-Barthélemy at the forefront of innovation for an ever better tourist experience
The Tourism Committee of Saint-Barthélemy has joined the services of Data Moove which has developed for the Committee the digital platform City Moove for its new mobile application dedicated to tourism and the promotion of its territory. Thanks to the mobile application City Moove (available on iOS and Android), Saint-Barthélemy offers tourists and inhabitants of the island the opportunity to discover the island in its many facets by allowing them to be informed in real time of all the highlights, events, and discoveries possible, as soon as they arrive at the Gustavia airport, where the first interactive terminal will be installed, which will broadcast this information.
“This new application is a concentrate of innovation that brings together all the information a traveler expects from a mobile application. Our guests can discover all the riches of our island, through a presentation of places, hotels, restaurants and events that shape St. Barthelemy. The island of Saint Barthélemy is the second destination to acquire this unique tool, after the Regional Committee of Tourism “Côte d’Azur France”.
In concrete terms, how does that work ?
Data Moove has been developing City Moove for more than 4 years as part of a European project supported by EIT Digital, in partnership with EURECOM (engineering school and research center in the field of digital sciences at Sophia Antipolis):
