USE CASE : City Moove integrated into the event website of the CRT Côte d'Azur

The first large-scale web portal for all events located in the French Riviera from Monaco to Saint-Tropez was created thanks to the City Moove platform: www.cotedazur-en-fetes.com

Our customer, the Côte d’Azur France Regional Tourism Committee, who wanted to revamp its event website, turned to Data Moove to design and develop it and, at the same time, integrate its City Moove platform (formerly 3cixty).

The ambition was consequent for this project: to gather all the most emblematic and complete tourist events on the Côte d’Azur France in a single web portal, without semantic duplication, in a qualitative and real-time manner.

This project was created thanks to our platform of aggregation and management of  big volumetry tourist flows City Moove.

As a reminder, City Moove is an innovative BigData application for digital cities: it combines impressive amounts of data and provides relevant information that is accessible at a glance, allowing visitors to better explore all events and places in a city.

The solution had been used successfully during the last Universal exhibition in Milan. Here you can find a video about this.

As part of the www.cotedazur-en-fetes.com website, our City Moove solution made it possible to aggregate a large number of content sources, including major local authorities such as CRT Côte d’Azur, Tourist Office of Nice, the city of Cannes and the Palais des festivals, Antibes, Saint Tropez or other global tourism players such as APIDAE, Evensi, Open Agenda or even Facebook.

But City Moove does not stop there: other powerful features can also be integrated like …

  • The collection of all the POIs: Monuments, Parks, Churches, Buildings, Museums, …
  • All the socio-pro activities of the territory: Hotels, Restaurants, Services, Outdoors, Nightlife, …
  • To connect and aggregate streams in OpenData format.

 

Moreover, City Moove is completely interoperable, ie it can work and adapt easily with other existing products or systems. This has been the case with www.cotedazur-en-fetes.com and the CMS WordPress © in order to enable the CRT Côte d’Azur France to manage all its flows (Edit, Delete, Promote, …).

Finally, Data Moove offers a complementary solution with its SIC solution (Centralized Information System), which is a platform allowing to manage very easily and quickly the whole offer and tourist information (Events, POI, Socio pro, Administration, …).

Since the latter is also interoperable, it can connect to other SITs such as APIDAE for example and of course take over all the knowledge bases of City Moove in their entirety.
